India defeated England in the final to win the 5th U19 World Cup

India beat England to win their fifth ICC U19 World Cup title in the final at Sir Vivian Richards Stadium in North Sound, Antigua on Saturday.

The team led by Yash Thul defeated the Three Lions by four wickets. Previously, India won the U19 World Cup in 2000, 2008, 2012 and 2018.

Chasing 190, India got off to a bad start as Joshua Boydon dismissed Angris Raghuvanshi (0) in the third ball of the innings.

Harnoor Singh and Sheikh Rashid combined in Greece to add 49 runs for the second wicket.

England returned to the crease in the 18th over as Thomas Aspinwall reduced India to 49/2 to dismiss Harnoor (21) as India began to take the lead.
