The government says there is no gender gap in the administration of Covid-19 vaccines

Health Minister Bharathi Pravin Pawar told the Lok Sabha on Friday;

That there was no gender gap in the administration of Covid-19 vaccines.

Against 48.8 percent of the total COVID-19 vaccine

Which is approximately 48.5 percent of the estimated proportion of women in the country’s population, according to Pawar’s 2011 census.

“Therefore, there is no gender gap in the administration of COVID-19 vaccines,”.

As of January 31, 2022, a total of 20,73,71,863 Govt-19 vaccine doses

The Minister said that the Government of India is constantly reviewing the pace of the COV-19 vaccine and has made several suggestions to the States and Union Territories to provide two doses of the COV-19 vaccine to eligible beneficiaries.

71,913 is the second dose and 15,28,439 is the precautionary dose.
